In the face of production upgrades, see how the feed industry can improve the level of intelligence in the supply chain

2021 - Dec - 27

A feed company in Jiangsu is a large-scale industrialized group integrating feed machinery and engineering, grain processing equipment and storage, agricultural and animal husbandry feed and oil, and real estate. Founded in 1918, the company has a history of more than 100 years. The company covers an area of more than 400 acres, and has 20 branch companies and more than 30 service agencies at home and abroad.

In order to respond to the national strategic policy of 2025 intelligent manufacturing, and at the same time to enhance the corporate image in an all-round way, a feed company in Jiangsu decided to work with Megvii to promote the automated three-dimensional warehouse project to realize automated operations and improve the level of intelligence in the supply chain.

The project has customized a set of automated storage & handling systems for customers according to the needs of customers, including stacker three-dimensional warehouse system, miniload stacker three-dimensional warehouse system, AGV system, etc. At the same time, the HETU WMS system has been launched to realize logistics. , all-round standardized management of information flow and capital flow.

The warehousing is carried out manually. After the handover between the forklift and the conveyor line is completed, the stacker/miniload picks up the goods and transports the goods to the storage space allocated by the HETU system. The warehouse is equipped with a goods-to-person picking workstation. The target goods are manually picked and placed on the material rack. After the picking task is completed, the AGV automatically transports the material rack to the corresponding production line connection point in the workshop.

The space utilization rate has been increased by 200%. Through the cooperation of multiple systems such as pallet stackers, bin stackers and Megvii's self-developed robot T800, the unmanned and automated flow of goods between workshops and warehouses has been realized.
